May 22, 2018 - Looking for admin / programmer to help out the community!
Looks like divxsubtitles is no longer sending out confirmation e-mails to newly registered users, so I am looking for anyone to help out with fixing the problem. In addition to fixing new user registration, it would also be great to add the option for users to delete their accounts if they wish. If anyone feels like they would like to help out the community of subtitle translators, users and fans, please send me an email (contact details are at the bottom of the page). Thanks!
Apr 15, 2013 - Database problems fixed
There was a problem for a few days which prevented uploads and downloads (mainly thanks to another round of hacking). This has been fixed now and everything should be back to normal. Once again, if anyone is interested in adding more features and building better protections to make this oldest and best subtitles site on the web even better, please let me know (contact details are at the bottom of the page). Dec 10, 2012 - Hacking attempt by rival site
Well this is interesting. Looks like a rival subtitle site tried to hack into the server and post links to its website all over the place. Real classy. As a result, some of the subtitle links stopped working (they gave a 'File does not exist' error message) so a small portion of the subtitles were not available for a time (thanks to user tamercome for giving me a heads up). Everything has been restored back to normal now and should work as usual but it makes me wonder - are some people really so desperate to drive traffic to their websites that they'd even resort to hacking rivals in order to get it? I guess so.
